Overview

Agentrium (Agent Desktop Environment) is a cross-platform desktop app for developers who work with multiple coding-agent CLIs. Pick which agent each terminal launches, mix them freely in tabs or a grid, save per-profile setups, and get a native window with proper tabs, split view, session restore, git worktree lifecycle, and hunk review on top.

The app is Tauri-native (small binary, no Electron bloat) and ships to Windows and macOS.

Automatic session subtitles

Session names stay unchanged. A short excerpt from the initial request appears as a smaller subtitle on session cards and in compact session headers. Hover or focus the card title or subtitle to read its saved context. Double-click the main title to rename the session. The command palette also searches the subtitle and context.

Subtitles use local Claude, Codex, or Cursor session metadata, with no AI calls, additional authentication, or AI usage charges. When metadata is unavailable, the subtitle stays blank and extraction retries every 30 seconds. Agents without local session metadata do not receive automatic subtitles. Context is saved locally and restored with recognized sessions; existing saved descriptions remain readable. Use Refresh context in the session menu to re-extract the local text.

Agent handoff and attention inbox

Right-click an open session and choose Continue with another agent... to prepare a handoff. The editable brief includes the saved task context and current Git changes, with sections for decisions and remaining work. Select the receiving agent and choose Open agent with brief. The new session opens in the same directory with the brief in its prompt editor; send it once the agent is ready. The receiving agent uses its own default arguments and credential bindings. Let the source session finish before sending work to the new session.

The sidebar bell opens the Attention inbox. It collects input prompts, responses ready for review, process exits, and failed agent or script processes. Click an entry to open its session, or dismiss it with the close button. Entries clear when work resumes or the session closes. The inbox is local to the current window and is not saved across restarts.

Input and review states are inferred from terminal activity and visible output; they do not establish that a task or its tests passed. Failure entries use the exit status of processes launched by Agentrium; commands run internally by an agent do not expose separate exit statuses to the inbox.

Supported Agents

Each terminal you spawn can target any of the four agents below. Switch between them with a picker in the New Terminal dialog; the icon on each tab and grid cell tells you which agent is running.
