Public Free Suffix is a non-profit free subdomain service, sponsored and continuously operated by the Nssnap Community — an emerging, global community built on equality, friendliness, mutual support, and altruism, bringing together people passionate about hosting, domains, servers, Super Intelligence/AI, and software. It exists for developers, students, technicians, and personal users who need a domain for a blog, a portfolio, a lab, or a weekend experiment.
How to apply
Applications are handled entirely through the Nssnap Community web console — no pull requests, no waiting on email verification.
- Add your domain at a supported DNS provider. Our top pick is Bunny.net DNS, followed by He.net DNS. Other providers work too.
- Register on Nssnap Community and verify your GitHub account. Your GitHub account must be at least 2 years old.
- Apply in the web console. Nameserver delegation is handled automatically, and you can manage your domains there anytime.
Supported suffixes
is-a.si
pfsdns.org
nastu.net
tun.re
no.kg
so.kg
The fine print
- Domain names must be a single label under the suffix (e.g.
myname.no.kg, notmy.name.no.kg), and must not hit the reserved words list. - By registering you agree to the Registration and Use Agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy.
- Please deploy something within 30 days — domains held for 30 consecutive days without any content are reclaimed, so resources go to people who actually use them.
If you find a domain being used for phishing, fraud, gambling, malware, or anything else that violates the Acceptable Use Policy, please tell us:
- Online: nssnap.com/report
- Email: abuse-report@publicfreesuffix.org
Where did the pull-request flow go?
Between 2025 and 2026, registrations were handled through pull requests in this repository. That flow has been retired — the web console is faster and friendlier for everyone. If you applied through a pull request in the past, sign in to Nssnap Community with your original Whois email address and your domain will be waiting for you.
