Role-based Claude Code skills for every team. Install what your team needs, skip what they don't.
What This Is
A curated collection of Claude Code skills organized by job role. Each skill is a packaged workflow grounded in a proven book or methodology - Claude invokes it automatically, or you trigger it with a /skill-name command.
165 skills across 19 roles. PM, QA, Engineer, Designer, DevOps, Leadership, Program Delivery, Customer Success, Recruiter, Consultant, Sales, Marketing, Founder, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Security, Researcher, Accountant, and Business Analyst, plus shared skills installed with every role.
Install as a plugin
The whole collection ships as a Claude Code plugin, so you install it once and get updates through
/plugin update instead of re-cloning. Inside Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add qa-aman/claude-skills
/plugin install claude-skills@claude-skills
The install command opens a details view where you pick the installation scope. If the install
summary says Run /reload-plugins to activate., run that command.
Plugin skills are namespaced by the plugin name, so a skill is invoked as
/claude-skills:<skill-name>, for example /claude-skills:write-prd.
To refresh the catalog and pull newer skills later:
/plugin marketplace update claude-skills
/plugin update claude-skills@claude-skills
See VERSIONS.md for the version and last-updated date of every skill, so you can tell what changed before you update. Docs for the plugin system: plugins, plugin marketplaces, discover and install plugins.
Install
Prefer the script if you want the skills copied into .claude/skills/ as plain skills with
un-namespaced /skill-name commands, or you only want one role's skills on disk.
# Clone once

cd claude-skills
# Install skills for your role

Global vs Project Install
Skills can be installed in two scopes:
| Scope | Command | Where | Available |
|---|---|---|---|
| Global (default) | --global or no flag |
~/.claude/skills/ |
Every Claude Code session, across all projects |
| Project | --project |
./.claude/skills/ |
Only when Claude Code is opened in that specific project |
Global install is right for most people. Your role skills (write-prd, qa-strategy, feedback-delivery) follow you everywhere — not tied to any single codebase.
# Global — skills available in all projects (default)
bash scripts/install.sh --role pm
# Project — skills available in this project only
bash scripts/install.sh --role pm --project
When to use --project: Team-specific workflows where everyone on the project needs the same skills, or project-specific conventions that don't apply to your other work.
